From bumps to freeride, a life shaped by the mountain
Originally from Combloux, Alexis was born between the mountains with skis on his feet. Skiing has always accompanied him: he started with alpine skiing before joining the French mogul skiing team for several years. Today a ski instructor and committed freerider on the Freeride World Qualifier for several years, he fully lives his passion.
In summer, he stays connected to the mountains through trail running, which offers him escape and balance, and road cycling, which allows him to train for his winter competitions. Passionate about video, he also shares his adventures and sports daily life on social media.
Goals, travels, and quest for freedom
For Alexis, freeride is the best way to express himself in skiing: a mix of disciplines, freedom, and self-surpassing. If he aims one day for the Freeride World Tour and dreams of riding in Alaska, he also keeps in mind other challenges like the UTMB of Chamonix.
Refusing to reduce his journey to a simple record, he prefers to consider success as achieving his dreams and feeling free. Nevertheless, he remembers his beautiful 2022/2023 season, marked by an 11th place in Europe and a top 4 in Japan. Curious and a traveler, he has already explored Austria, Slovakia, Japan, but also Sweden, Finland, Italy, Australia, and Georgia, and dreams of continuing to discover the world.
