"Introducing children to travel through sport and sharing our adventures with everyone"

Mikaël Rosset

A family story

Camille and Mica are the parents of Auguste and Edmée. Passionate about board sports and video, Mica has been filming the children since their first steps on skis. The videos were initially intended for family and friends until one of them, posted online, surpassed 600,000 views. This is how La Poule qui tousse was born.

Why skiing, biking, skateboarding, or kitesurfing? "The children are up for trying everything, always under Camille's watchful eye who tempers my ideas a bit," says Mica. "I can't stick to just one discipline. I prefer them to be comfortable on all terrains (snow, water, or mountains) to have fun everywhere, with all their friends."

Dreams, travels and achievements

Dreams and goals differ within the family: Auguste wants to land backflips on skis, but Mica prefers to see him progress step by step, on the 360, 540, rails, and the giant. Edmée, more of an artist than a skier, dreams of sculpture; she reluctantly follows the sporting adventures but increasingly surprises with her progress, where Auguste is more linear and predictable.

The family lives to the rhythm of van life with their VW California, which has already taken them across Europe for surfing, kitesurfing, biking, or windsurfing: Portugal, Greece, Turkey, Corsica, Sardinia, etc. Other trips have taken them to Morocco, Mauritius, Tanzania, Sri Lanka, Brazil, and Zanzibar. Among their greatest achievements, Auguste is now part of the Courchevel sports club, alpine skiing section, where the children are guided by true enthusiasts.
