From fresh air to high level
Passionate about sports of all kinds and wide open spaces, Pierre discovered mountain biking late, at the age of 18. Yet, the chemistry was immediate. Attracted by the values of this sport and driven by a constant desire to surpass himself, he progressed step by step until reaching a high level in Cross-Country Marathon.
Why XC Marathon? Because it brings together everything that makes Pierre thrive: self-improvement, the pursuit of performance, contact with nature, and the family spirit inherent to this discipline. So many parameters that allow him to invest himself 100%.
Goals, achievements, and horizons
His dreams and goals? To win a second French XCM Championship title, participate in the 4 stages of the Epic Series (Absa Cape Epic, 4Islands MTB, Andorra MTB Classic Pyrenees, Swiss Epic), but above all, to continue enjoying cycling, both solo and as a duo in stage races.
His track record reflects this commitment: French XCM Champion 2019, runner-up in 2021, winner of the Alps Epic in 2020 and 2022, 3rd in the MTB Alpine Cup Challenge 2021, 4th in the MB Race 2021, and 1st in the TransRiviera 2021. As for destinations, Pierre has ridden across Europe, often in alpine massifs, from the Dolomites to Valais, through the Grisons and the French Alps. Among his memorable experiences: the 4Islands in Croatia and the legendary Cape Epic in South Africa, with its stunning landscapes and passage through the famous Stellenbosch Bike Park.
