« Live to ski and ski to live! »

Pierre-Louis Cret

La Grave as a playground

Originally from La Grave, Pierre-Louis, better known by the nickname Pilou, explores the mountain in all its forms but most often with skis on his feet. Winter and summer, it's on this mythical freeride ski spot that he lives and cultivates his outdoor passions. On skis since the age of 3, he grew up in a 100% off-piste resort, which naturally led him to freeride. A universe where he seeks above all novelty, thrills, and freedom. Values that he also finds in his other favorite disciplines: mountain biking and mountaineering.

His dreams and horizons

Pilou has a strong dream: to become a high mountain guide to fully live his passions, travel, and constantly discover new horizons. Already, he has explored about thirty peaks in the Écrins and several beautiful peaks around Chamonix, in both skiing and mountaineering. His most beautiful travel memory remains the South Island of New Zealand, an unforgettable land of adventure. In terms of results, he notably has a 2nd place overall in the Derby de la Meije in 2019 and a 3rd place in the FWQ 2* of Nendaz in 2021.

His opinion on CAIRN

For me, CAIRN are useful and stylish protections, no matter the season!
