The mountain as a playground
A lover of mountains, skiing, and hiking from a young age, Pierrick quickly left the city after finishing his studies to settle in the Alps. Summer and winter, the mountain is for him the most beautiful gym. Never without his GoPro and often with a drone in his bag, he shares his trail running and skiing adventures on Instagram. Performance is never a goal: the important thing is to be amazed and bring back beautiful memories.
Why trail and ski touring? For escape and sharing. Although these sports are individual, each outing becomes an adventure with friends. Whether on accessible or more technical routes, pleasure always comes before performance, and that's exactly what Pierrick seeks.
Dreams, horizons, and achievements
His list of dreams keeps growing, but the essential thing is to enjoy the mountains as much as possible. Without a competitive spirit, he nevertheless nurtures the personal goal of moving from trail running to ultra-trail: more kilometers, thus more pleasure. His favorite playgrounds remain close to home, notably the Aravis massif and the Tournette, but he admits a weakness for the archipelagos of the Eastern Atlantic, such as the Canary Islands or Madeira, perfect for trail running and long hikes.
For him, the greatest success is inspiring his friends, family, and community by making them want to go out and have fun outdoors without taking themselves too seriously. On a more personal level, he is proud to have overcome a double foot fracture and to have been able to complete the 34 km / 2100 D+ of the Grand Trail du Lac du Bourget, a real-life rehabilitation.
