"You are alive! So go for it!"

Vanessa Morales

Get going, climb, descend

Vanessa practices trail, ultra trail, mountaineering, or mountain running. No matter the discipline, as long as it climbs and descends! A lover of challenges, she tackles iconic records like those of Kilimanjaro or Mount Olympus. Not to be the best but to feel, for a moment, the intense emotions experienced by athletes who dare to take on such challenges. What motivates her just as much is sharing: telling her adventures, allowing others to travel vicariously and, perhaps, projecting themselves into these extraordinary experiences.

Goals, horizons, and personal victories

For Vanessa, her dreams are also her goals. Among them: the Ultra Run Raramuri in Mexico (completed in April 2022), the attempt for the women's record of the GR20 in Corsica (June 2022), or the Manaslu (8,163 m) in Nepal (September 2022). Her travels have already taken her to Finland, Tanzania (Kilimanjaro), Nepal (Khumbu Valley with the ascent of Kala Patthar running and the Everest base camp), and Italy (Ultra of Vesuvius, where she secured a 3rd place senior female). On the success side, Vanessa counts 5 ascents of Kilimanjaro, a women's speed record on the ascent of Kilimanjaro via the Mweka route in 11h33 (2021), as well as a women's speed record on Mount Olympus via the East couloir (2021).

His opinion on CAIRN

I've been a fan for years... for me, CAIRN, it's THE BASE!
