Renaud was lulled by sea breezes during his childhood. Once he arrived in the Alps, the call of the open sea was quickly replaced by the Alpine peaks.
The sheer size of the mountain playground awakened his thirst for adventure, which is why he settled in Passy and has been practising his guiding profession with passion for several years now.

Based in the town of Chamonix, I practice steep climbing in the Mont Blanc massif, which offers lines of great scope. The Beaufortain and Avaris massifs, where I cut my teeth as a valley-bottom adventurer, remain magical for me.
The less Alpine massifs such as the Lubéron, the Armorican mountains and the Mont Ventoux massif are superb places for mountain biking for one or more days.
