The efficacy of a helmet during a ski shock is not to be proven. To go even further, CAIRN and MIPS® have teamed up to develop a helmet that is even safer for your head. The accidents statistics show that, often, the falls and shocks generate a angular impact (under 90°) on the head . These shocks are called «rotationnal» and can lead to severe brain damage.
